Analog Forever

In March of 2023, I met Michael Kirchoff in person at the Denver Month of Photography Reviews organized by CPAC. We discussed the progression of my Reverie project from when I reviewed with him online the year prior. His enthusiasm for supporting artists development and the work itself is something I greatly appreciate about him.

Fast forward to Christmas Eve, and I’m out with mom enjoying a beer. My phone lights up with an email from Michael, asking if I’d like to be interviewed for a featured artist spotlight on Analog Forever’s website. “Best Christmas present ever!” I said outloud, with beer in hand. It’s hard to explain how excited I was to be featured by the photo magazine that I consider my favorite, as it’s beautifully produced, designed and authored to showcase the work of analog artists who push the boundaries of photography in inspiring ways.

To make this even more thrilling, an image from Reverie entitled Suspended in Time was also included in the print edition’s Heart of the Issue. Yep, this girl is happy. Thank you, Michael!
